The Local Climate Action Planning Initiative Announces the Completion of Three Virginia Municipal Greenhouse Gas Inventories

George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government completes municipal greenhouse gas emissions inventories for Henry County, City of Danville, and City of Martinsville. Working closely with local government officials, George Mason University modeled the baseline greenhouse gas emissions for each municipality, including emissions from stationary sources, transportation, water, wastewater, solid waste, and land use.
